This morning we cross to the West bank. The West bank is a spectacular, here you discover a variety of tombs starting with the Valley of Kings, Valley of Queens, and the temple of Queen Hatshepsut to see the bas-reliefs which illustrate her expedition to the land of Punt. Our final stop on the west bank is the legendary Colossi of Memnon.

West Bank Valleys  (LXR/01)
Half day
This morning we cross to the West bank. The West bank is a spectacular, here you discover a variety of tombs starting with the Valley of Kings, Valley of Queens, and the temple of Queen Hatshepsut to see the bas-reliefs which illustrate her expedition to the land of Punt. Our final stop on the west bank is the legendary Colossi of Memnon.


West Bank Temples (LXR/02)
Half day
This morning we cross to the West bank. The West bank with its fascinating tombs and temples. A major attraction on the west bank Medinet Habu, The temple is a complex as in the temples of Karnak and Luxor. It is the first temple was most likely erected during the Middle Kingdom and was added when Egypt was part of the Roman Empire, so the history of Medinet Habu spans a period of more than 2 millenniums. Our next stop to Dair El Madina, is one of the most well-preserved ancient settlements in all Egypt. It was the workers village where craftsman and other lived and actually constructed and decorated the tombs on the West bank.


East Bank (LXR/03)
Half day
On the East bank of the Nile visit the most celebrated temple in Egypt the Karnak temple, passing through the small avenue of sphinxes, view the Great Court, magnificent Hypostyle Hall, the Hatshepsut granite Obelisks, and the Sacred lake. We continue to the south to visit the Luxor temple built by Amenophis III and his superb colonnade with papyrus-head columns.


Hot Air Balloon (LXR/04)
Morning
An unforgettable view of Luxor and the Nile, take a flight in a Hot Air Balloon over the West Bank. Gently rise into the dawn sky, enjoy the calmness of the early morning sun rising over Luxor. Enjoy the sites of the West Bank from the air, the magnificent Hatshepsut temple, the Colossi of Memnon the midst of crop fields, the Ramesseum and the Valley of the Queens. To the East bank you can see the Karnak temple welcoming the morning sun and the early morning sun rising over East bank, illuminating the city and mountains. The hot Air balloon flight will last approximately 45 minutes.

Sound and Light in Luxor (LXR/05)
Evening
The splendid Sound and Light show at the Karnak temple, will take about 75 minutes, it first takes you around the temple grounds and finally the last act is played while you are seated along the Great Sacred Lake. The performance relates to the history of Luxor as the capital of the ancient world. An experience not to be forgotten.
