Day (01) - Cairo
Arrive Cairo international airport, upon arrival you will be met by Kimidar Tours representative and transferred to your chosen hotel.
Day (02) - Cairo
This morning explore one of the seven wonders of the ancient world, the Great Pyramids of Giza, and the nearby mysterious Sphinx carved from a single block of limestone. Continue to visit the fabulous Egyptian Museum, home to priceless antiquities; including statues, reliefs, sarcophagi, and the King Tutankhamen treasures discovered in the Valley of the Kings in Luxor by Howard Carter in 1922.
Day (03) - Cairo
We take a walk in Medival Cairo, on this walk you will visit four famous mosques Ibn Tulun, The mosque that he had built over a period of three years of mud brick became the focal point of the Tulunid capital that lasted only 26 years. It was the third congregational mosque to be built in what is now greater Cairo. Walk east along Sharia El Salibah to Midan Salah El Din. At its north end, two large mosques stand close together. The nearest is the Sultan Hassan Mosque remains the most important monument of this period. Sultan Hassan imported engineers from throughout the world to build his great monument. It was a school, or madrasa, but for the first time in Cairo, the madrasa had also the status of a congregational mosque for Friday sermons. We cross the sharia El Qa’la to the Rifai Mosque The Refa\'i Mosque was built in the Bahri Mamluk style which was popular in the 19th and 20th centuries. Shaykh \'Ali al-Refa\'i was a medieval era Islamic saint. The Zawiya was a pilgrimage site for locals who believed that the tomb had mystical healing properties. It houses his tomb, along with that of Yehia Al Ansary, a companion of the prophet. Cross Midan Salah el Din to the Base of the Citadel.
Day (04) - Cairo
Today this walk takes you through the heart of the medieval city, the world of the Thousand and one nights. Beginning at Bab Zuwayla sometimes called al-Mitwalli after El Kutb al-Mitwalli, through Sharai El Muizz and Midan El Hussein Visiting Muayyad Mosque, El Ghuri, then Madrasa, Mausoleum, Wakala El Ghuri, then continue to Al Azhar Mosque and University, then north to Sayyidan el Hussein Mosque, and Khan El Khalili Bazaar. We continue our walk to Qalaun Madrsa and Masoleum, then Bayt El Suhaymi, El Hakim Mosque ending at Bab El Futuh.
Day (05) - Cairo
Visiting Amr Ibn El As mosque the first and oldest mosque ever built on the land of Egypt. Erected in 642 AD (21 AH) by Amr Ibn al\'As, the commander of the Muslim army that conquered Egypt, the mosque is also known as Taj al-Jawamie. The mosque is said to have been built on the site of Amr Ibn El-As\'s tent at Fustat, is the oldest existing mosque, not just in Cairo, but the entire African Continent. Continue to visit Ahle El Biet El Saida Zenab, El Saida Nafessa and El Saida Eisha Mosques and then Continue to visit the Al-Azhar Mosque, established in 972 (361 H) in a porticoes style shortly after the founding of Cairo. Located in the centre of an area teaming with the most beautiful Islamic monuments from the 10th century, it was called "Al-Azhar" after Fatma Al-Zahraa, daughter of the Prophet Mohamed. We follow our visit to El Hussein Mosque Inside its mausoleum is the head of Hussein, the grandson of Prophet Mohammed. Hussein was murdered in Iraq in 680 AD in the power struggle that divided Islam into two branches: Shia and Sunni. We end our visit with a truly amazing atmosphere, a place where you can bargain the Khan El Khalili bazaar once known as the Turkish bazaar.
