Day (01) - Cairo
Arrive Cairo international airport, upon arrival you will be met by Kimidar Tours representative and transferred to your chosen hotel.
Day (02) - Cairo Pyramids and Sphinx
This morning explore one of the seven wonders of the ancient world, the Great Pyramids of Giza, and the nearby mysterious Sphinx carved from a single block of limestone.
Day (03) - Cairo Egyptian Museum
This morning visit the fabulous Egyptian Museum, home to priceless antiquities; including statues, reliefs, sarcophagi, and the King Tutankhamun’s treasures discovered in the valley of the kings in Luxor by Howard Carter in 1922.
Day (04) - Cairo Islamic Cairo
This morning we will explore the medieval Islamic quarter, the Citadel built in 1176 by Salah El Din to defend Cairo from the crusaders, Mohamed Ali Mosque known as the Alabaster Mosque, then we continue our visit to Sultan Hassan Mosque and Madrasa (school), it is considered stylistically the most compact and unified. It is an example of a Mamluk architecture was built in 1356 - 1363. We end our visit with a truly amazing atmosphere, a place where you can bargain the Khan El Khalili bazaar once known as the Turkish bazaar.
Day (05) - Cairo Old Coptic Cairo
Old Coptic Cairo known as ( Masr al Qadima ) it is the oldest part of Cairo. The Roman built a fortress known as “Babylon”, some of these walls still exist today. After the spread of Christianity throughout Egypt, it became a Christian stronghold, with as many as 20 churches, now only 5 remain. We will visit the church of St. Sergius 4th century AD oldest church, where the holy family rested. The Hanging church, built in the 7th century on 4th century church site on top of the Roman wall. Ben Ezra synagogue, built in 882 surrounding grounds originally a property of the church, was acquired by the Jews in return for “kantars of gold” the basilica-style synagogue contains a Jewish heritage library, inaugurated in 1997. Continue to the Coptic Museum, founded in 1910 to fulfill the needs of displaying monuments referred to the period in order to easily trace the history of Christianity in Egypt. The objects displayed rise up to 16000 pieces approximately, arranged as possible in chronological order in 12 different sections. The display had been set according to scientific measures.
