Day (01) Cairo
Arrive Cairo international airport, upon arrival you will be met by Kimidar Tours representative and transferred to your chosen hotel.
Day (02) Cairo
This morning we visit the first ancient capital of the Old Kingdom of Egypt. Ramses II is well represented with a colossus of himself near the Alabaster Sphinx. The Alabaster Sphinx was carved in honour of an unknown Pharaoh. We continue our tour to Saqqara a section of the great necropolis of Memphis. Saqqara is best known for the step Pyramids built for King Djoser. In the afternoon we processed to visit the only remaining ancient wonder of the world, Pyramids of Giza. View the Pyramids of Cheops, Khefren and Mycerinus, a visit to the Sphinx, and the valley temple.
Day (03) Cairo
This morning visit the world-renowned Egyptian Museum; explore the unparalleled collection of the Museum of Egyptian Antiquities. Discover the amazing statues, and the treasures of King Tutankhamen and artefacts and an optional visit to the thrilling Mummies room. Drive through Tahrir Square were 25th January , 2011 revelation and demonstrations took place for over 3 weeks against Moubark regime. The afternoon is yours to enjoy at leisure.
Day (04) Cairo
This morning visit the Mahmoud Khalil Museum of fine Art. Mohammed Mahmoud Khalil gathered together one of the Middle East’s finest collections of 19th- and 20th-century European work. The wonderful Mr. & Mrs. Mahmoud Khalil Museum includes sculptures by Rodin and paintings by the likes of Delacroix, Gauguin, Toulouse-Lautrec, Manet, Monet and Pissarro. There are also some Rubens, Sisleys and a Picasso. After Lunch we continue our visit to the Gezira Center where The Egyptian Museum of Modern Art is now and displays more than 10,000 paintings and sculptures that represent the development of the Egyptian art movement from the pioneers of the early 20th century to the contemporary art trends. Among the most celebrated artists whose works of art are displayed in the museum are: Mahmoud Mokhtar, Mohammed Nagui, Youssef kamel ,Ragheb Ayyad, Ahmad Sabri, Mahmoud Said.
Day (05) Cairo
Today we will be visiting the Gayer-Anderson Museum. The Gayer Anderson Museum was founded in 1937 in two ancient residences, the Beit el-Kiridiliya from 1632 and the Beit Amna Bent Salim from 1540. The museum includes the private collection of Major Gayer-Anderson as well as furniture, glassware, crystal, carpets, silks and embroidered Arab costumes. The residences are reached by a private street. The Beit el-Kiridiliya has a sabil at the southwest corner and a maqaad with a monumental entrance. The Beit Amna Bent Salim has a courtyard that is small and a single-arched maqaad. There is a qaa that has an extremely high ceiling that runs the length of the house. Several of the rooms on the third floor have been reconstructed. After lunch visit Khan El Khalili Bazaar.
Day (06) Luxor
Kimidar Tours Representative will escort you to Cairo airport for your flight to Luxor. Arrive Luxor Airport; our representative will meet you at the airport to start your tour of the East Bank of the Nile, to visit the spectacular Karnak and Luxor temples as well as the famous Avenue of the Sphinxes. Rest of the day at leisure. Evening visit Luxor museum and attend the sound and light show.
Day (07) Luxor
Early morning visit the West bank valley of the Kings, Queens, Hatshepsute temple and the Colossi of Memnon. Afternoon visit the Mummification Museum, The museum is intended to provide an understanding of the ancient art of mummification. The Ancient Egyptians applied embalming techniques to many species, not only to dead humans. Mummies of cats, fish and crocodiles are on display in this unique museum, where one can also get an idea of the tools used.
Day (08) Cairo
Kimidar Tours representative will accompanied to Luxor Airport for your flight back to Cairo. Upon arrival at Cairo Airport you will be met by Kimidar Tours Representative and escorted to your hotel. Dinner will be on a floating Restaurant
Day (09) Cairo
Kimidar Tours representative will assist you with the hotel check out and will transfer you to Cairo International airport for your final departure.
