Q: How far in advance do I need to book a vacation?
A: Kimidar Tours strongly recommend that you book as far in advance as possible to ensure that your requirement are met, in hotels, cruises, air line .. etc.

Q: What happens if my reservation made within 30 days cannot be confirmed?
A: If your reservation request is made within 30 days and cannot be confirmed, or an alternative is not acceptable or not found a full refund of your payment and late booking fee charged will be granted.

Q: Are all prices based on double occupancy?

A: All our prices are based on double occupancy, however single and triple rooms are available at additional charges are indicated in the tour pricing.

Q: What are acceptable forms of payment?

A: Kimidar Tours accept all major Credit Cards. A non-refundable deposit of USD 150.00 per person, paid by credit card, is required at the time of booking. The Credit Card used must belong to one of the passengers travelling.

Q: Can I purchase an optional sightseeing tour in advance?

A: Yes, you can purchase optional sightseeing tour in advance or locally.

Q: Do I need a passport and a visa?
A: Egypt requires an entry Visa, along with a valid passport for at least 6 month from date of return. Visas will be issued upon arrival in Egypt for passengers holding U.S / Canadian Passport. Passengers with other passports ( need to check with Kimidar Tours the possibility ) or must obtain a visa in advance through the Egyptian Consulate. We do not accept any responsibility for failure to comply with visa and passport regulations. You should check first with your embassy and the Egyptian consulate for the appropriate information.

Q: My trip is paid in full, when can I expect to receive my documents?
A: Documents are sent out between 14 – 21 days prior to your departure

Q: Are tips for the tour director included in the tour price?
A: No tipping is not include in the tour price – our recommendation are: In Egypt tipping is generally expected by hotel porters, waiters, drivers, guides. Suggested tipping ( per person ) Tour Guide/Escort USD 10.00 Driver USD 2.00 per day Nile cruise staff USD 5.00 per day Transfer man USD 3.00 per transfer

Q: What extras will I have to pay for?
A: All extras not included in tour package, such as phone calls, tips, laundry, beverages, meals not mentioned in itinerary, taxi, visa ... etc.

Q: Will our tour guide speak English?

A: Yes, tours and representative at the Airport will be English Speaking.

Q: How can my family contact me overseas if there is an emergency?
A: You can contact our local office numbers will be included in your itinerary and our local office will be in touch with you. most USA mobile telephones roam in Egypt.

Q: Do I need a credit card to travel?
A: Major credit cards are acceptable at hotels, Restaurants, shopping malls, shops were you will find the Credit Cards sign. Please note that using Credit Cards for payment a handling fee will be added, the hotel/ Restaurant/ shop will advise you at the time of purchasing goods/or paying for service, according to the Credit card used. Personal cheques are not acceptable.

Q: I am interested in a Tailor made tour, can Kimidar Tours help me?

Q: What is the policy on smoking?
A: Smoking is not allowed on flights (International and domestic), tour coaches, however when stopping during tours, passengers are permitted to smoke.

Q: What are the limitations on luggage?
A: Due to the limited storage space on coaches, and in Cars we recommend one single bag per person and not exceeding 50 pounds.

Q: What does the Travel Insurance Cover?
A: Travel insurance covers Your vacation from cancellation to medical coverage. Kimidar Tours strongly recommend purchasing it.

Q: What will happen if I need to Cancel my vacation and didn’t purchases a Travel Insurance?
A: Cancellation fees penalties will apply according to the Terms and conditions of your vacation
