Day 01: Sharm ElSheikh
Arrival at Sharm El-Sheikh international airport meets and assists trough formalities, then transfer to your hotel for overnight.
Day 02: Sarabit ElKhadem
Drive to Sarabit El-Khadem, underway visit Moses fresh spring , This spring is said to be one of Moses biblical sites where Moses stopped to fetch up water for his people during the exodus, Proceed to Sarabit for overnight " our first night is spent at the open in a Bedouin Tent" .An absolute culture shock!!.
Day 03: Sarabit ElKhadem
After breakfast; getting to know to our Bedouin Staff and our Donkeys for the next few days. By now we are just learning how to ride and tend a camel. " weird experience" , Proceed to the footsteps of Gabal Sarabit ( Sarabit Mountain) our plan today is to visit the remains of the only old-age Egyptian temple built by the pharos in Sinai peninsula. The temple named after the goddess Hathor and the ruins assert the frequent campaigns of the pharos to explore and mine the Sinai's turquoise treasures.
Descent for lunch, proceed to Wadi (dry river bed) Baala. Overnight around a water spring.
Day 04: Desert Safari
After breakfast; a worm up walk to the cliff of Wadi Baala. We expect to see the awesome panoramic view of Wadi Baala. Again on camels through Wadi Sahw. Walking up Mount El-Edidia. Stop for lunch. In the afternoon walk up mount El-Eididia to re-explore the most ancient turquoise mines in Sinai. Descent ;overnight at El-Edidia plain.
Day 05: Desert Safari
By now we all have become use to every day's routine, our lunch today is served on top of Gabal Om Bogma. An extensive scale of panorama overlooking the red sea in the horizon ( Gulf of Suez) enough time for lunch and taking in such breath-taking view while the desert offering generously its indescribable beauty and magnificence.
Day 06: Desert Safari
We wake up on the smell of the Bedouin bread being cocked on the fire. After breakfast; today we are all eager to approach El-Shalal canyon. Return back to our camp site to pack and set off again. Proceed to the cliff of Wadi ElAloga for lunch. In the afternoon visit the spring of El-Nasab, proceed to overnight at Wadi Abu-Sour ( an oasis )
Day 07: Desert Safari
Set off through Wadi Abu Sour passing by El-Rekaiz spring to reach canyon El-Samra – Wadi El-Samara to overnight.
Day 08: Desert Safari
Wadi El-Samra – Wadi El-Khraig to overnight (a real wilderness).
Day 09: Desert Safari
Our final day on trek (a welcome experience). Today we close our circuit as we return back to our first day starting point to overnight. A chance to say goodbye nicely and properly to our Bedouin companions. Do not forget to document these sensational moments in a group farewell photograph.
Day 10: Desert Safari
Drive by jeeps to El-Teeh height (identified with the area where the wanderings of the Israelites mostly took place) visit the park of pillars. Proceed to Wadi Mokatab known for its multitude Nabatian inscriptions (100 B.C to 300 A.C) proceed to the monastery of seven none's (4 century). Head off towards St.Catherine. Time to freshen up before walking up Mount Sinai; a sacred mountain for believers of the three main monotheistic religions where God gave Moses the Ten Commandments. We climb three quarters of the way up to Elijah's Plateau where we camp for the night under the stars.
Day 11: Desert Safari
we rise at 4:00 am to climb the final section of the mountain. We arrive at the summit – 7500 feet above sea level – in time for a spectacular sunrise over the mountains of south Sinai. Time for some tea on the top then we return down the mountain- either by the camel path or the " steps of repentance". After breakfast, we visit St.Catherine Monastery situated at the foot of Mount Sinai. 6th century monastery that houses one of the most important icons collection on earth. In addition to the biblical site of the burning bush and Moses well. Lunch in a near by restaurant and a chance to freshen up. Drive to Sharm El Sheikh
